Award Winning Images

Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois' Print Competition. This was the first time I had entered images in a competition, and I wasn't sure how it would go. There were almost 250 entries. During the event, the judges commented on many images and how they scored them. It was fascinating and very educational. I was surprised and pleased that one of my images earned a "Presidents Award," which I earned a merit, and three others received "Honorable Mention." With what I learned, it will be interesting to see what images I choose to enter in the competition next time.
