Wehmeier Portraits Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the portrait photography services provided by Wehmeier Portraits, a registered DBA of Wehmeier Photography, Ltd., located at 14410 Raneys Ln, Orland Park, IL.

By booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Session Fees

• A session fee is required in advance to reserve your portrait session. This fee secures your appointment time and covers the time and expertise involved in creating your portraits.
• Payment details and instructions will be provided upon booking.

2. Satisfaction Guarantee, Refunds & Return Policy

• Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your session experience, we will refund your session fee in full.
• Clients may cancel their session at any time before the scheduled appointment and receive a full refund of the session fee.
• Sessions may also be rescheduled at any time prior to the appointment with no penalty.

Return & Reprint Policy

• We stand behind the quality of our printed products. If any physical product or print is found to be defective, we will replace it at no charge within 1 year of the original purchase date.
• If you are not satisfied with the processing or retouching of any printed image, you may request a complimentary reprint within 30 days of delivery.
• Clients must return the original product or provide photos of the defect, and requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure quality control.

Please note: Due to the custom nature of photography products, delivered digital files and printed images are non-returnable and non-refundable. However, we are happy to work with you to resolve concerns through adjustments or reprints, in accordance with the policies stated above.

3. Product Delivery

• Turnaround time for image delivery varies depending on the products ordered.
• Digital files and standard prints are typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks.
• Some specialty or custom products may take longer due to supplier processing times. Clients will be informed of any expected delays.

4. Copyright & Image Usage

• All images created by Wehmeier Portraits remain the intellectual property of Wehmeier Photography, Ltd.
• Clients receive a limited license to:
• Display purchased prints.
• Use purchased digital files for personal use only (e.g., personal printing, personal social media, and sharing with family).
• Clients may not use any images for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Wehmeier Photography, Ltd.
• Commercial use includes, but is not limited to: use in advertising, marketing, business websites, publications, or any resale.

5. Additional Fees

• Certain services may incur additional fees, including:
• Travel outside standard service areas
• Rush delivery
• Advanced retouching or image editing beyond standard services
• All such fees will be clearly stated up front and agreed to prior to any work being performed.

6. Image Use by Wehmeier Portraits

• Wehmeier Portraits may use images from your session for portfolio, marketing, website, or social media purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.

7. Liability

• We take great care in the handling and production of your images. However, in the unlikely event of technical issues, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances, Wehmeier Portraits' liability is limited to the return of any payments received.

8. Privacy

• Personal information collected is used solely for the purposes of booking, communication, and service delivery.
• We do not share or sell your data to third parties.

9. Custom Product Policy

All products created by Wehmeier Portraits are custom-made and tailored to each client. As such:

• Digital image files and printed photographs are not eligible for return or refund once delivered.
• Adjustments or reprints may be requested per our Return & Reprint Policy (see Section 2).
• We encourage all clients to carefully review proofs and communicate any specific retouching or product expectations prior to final delivery.
