Thank you for scheduling team headshots with us.
Our goal is to create consistent, polished portraits that represent your organization with clarity and professionalism — while keeping the process efficient for everyone involved.
Please share the following guidelines with your team prior to the session.
Confirm Image Use
Let us know how the images will be used (website, LinkedIn, marketing materials, proposals, press, etc.). If your organization has brand or submission specifications, please provide them in advance.
Stay Rested & Hydrated
Encourage team members to get a good night’s sleep and hydrate the day before. It noticeably improves skin tone and energy in the final image.
Arrival Timing
We will operate on a scheduled rotation.
Team members should arrive at their assigned time — not earlier than 10 minutes prior — to maintain efficiency.
For cohesive team imagery, consistency matters.
We recommend aligning around one of the following:
Formal business (jackets and ties / blazers)
Modern business (jackets without ties, professional blouses)
Business casual (collared shirts, knit layers, structured tops)
If your team is unsure which direction to choose, we’re happy to advise in advance.
Solid colors photograph best
Avoid bold patterns, large logos, or distracting graphics
Clothing should fit well — especially around the shoulders and neckline
Garments should be pressed and in excellent condition
Avoid pure white worn alone (it can overpower the image)
If possible, bring one alternate option.
Recommended options:
Suit jacket, dress shirt, tie
Jacket with open collar
Dress shirt (darker than skin tone if worn without jacket)
Avoid:
White dress shirt worn alone
Shirts that gap at the collar
Wrinkled jackets or overly shiny fabrics
Solid colors are preferred
Avoid large prints or busy patterns
Choose necklines that frame the face cleanly
Consider sleeve length (sleeveless draws attention to shoulders/arms)
Avoid bright white worn alone
Keep styling polished but understated. The focus should remain on expression and presence.
Keep jewelry simple and minimal
Avoid statement pieces that distract
Consider whether visible piercings align with company standards
The image should represent both the individual and the organization.
Because headshots are close-up portraits, small details are noticeable:
Trim stray eyebrow or facial hair
Check for visible nose hair
Men: check open-collar shirts for visible chest hair
Natural, clean makeup photographs best
Avoid heavy shimmer or high-gloss finishes
Do not experiment with new products just before the session
If scheduling a haircut, allow a few days for it to settle
Please arrive camera-ready with hair styled and makeup applied.
Each team member will be guided through simple, professional posing
Images are reviewed live for consistency and quality
The process is designed to be efficient while maintaining high standards
Our goal is to ensure your team’s portraits feel cohesive, confident, and aligned with your brand.
