As my twins were entering their senior year of high school, I knew there were many special moments I wanted to be sure to capture but I also didn't want to spend time worrying about taking photos and not enjoy these special moments of my twins final year.

Deciding on a photographer is always a big decision, but choosing Wehmeier Photography was hands down the best investment we could have made. They didn't just take pictures; they captured the actual feeling of all their special moments. Looking at our gallery brings back all the raw emotion, laughter, and love of their high school days in a way we didn't know was possible. That kind of emotional value is truly priceless.

They did such an amazing job with my twins photos, I decided to ask them if they would be willing to try to take a sibling photo with all 3 of my children. My youngest child has autism and to say he is very difficult to photograph is an understatement. I really didn't think they would be able to get a good photo of the 3 of them - but oh my did they prove me wrong.

I absolutely screamed when I saw the photo of my 3 children. For the first time ever, my youngest child was not hidden in the corner of a group picture looking somewhere other than the camera but he was front center, hands on hips, beautiful smile, and front facing eyes that absolutely knocked me out. I knew Rob and Elise were good, but it was at this moment I realized how lucky I was to be working with this incredibly talented pair.

We decided to invest in senior pictures because, while school photos can be nice, the assembly-line approach often makes it hard to truly capture a child’s personality. We were hoping to find a photographer who could provide an environment where our son's individuality could really shine. Wehmeier Portraits was an absolute pleasure to work with. The experience offered a relaxed, comfortable setting, where it felt more like he was hanging out with friends than posing for a photo shoot.

As parents, we often see our kids forced into stiff, unnatural poses for that one “perfect” photo, but Rob and Elise were so attentive to making the entire process an enjoyable experience. It was more than just a photo session—it was a cherished memory in the making. Rob captured so many great moments of Michael that I ended up extending my budget because I simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have those memories preserved.

If you are looking for portraits for any occasion, look no further than Wehmeier Portraits. Rob and Elise made my son’s graduation photo shoot a blast. So many photos were taken at the studio and outside at a nearby location. These photos blew my mind! Ryan wore a few different outfits that captured who he is and what his interests are. More than 50 photos were taken and all made me so emotional. They were so beautiful. I bought the senior album and I’m so grateful to have this book. It was so worth the price. I also bought the wall mosaic and captured so many of my son’s personalities. We will definitely be getting our family portrait done next.
