I have been photographing Ms. J. for a while now and it is an absolute hoot when the kids know me well enough to give me a hard time….. or at least they try.  Now, mind you, I’m now complaining because I know them pretty well too and I give it right back.  It really is a treat not only because it makes for a fun session but I’m able to engage with my young subject and create images that are very personal and engaging not only for me but for her and her family.  She was a real trooper today, not only did we do a whole bunch of work in color but she agreed to let me photograph her for my new project.  Here are a few samples from that work.
